Cookies

Sitewalk sets one cookie, named ad_session. It keeps you signed in. It is needed for the site to work, so there is no cookie banner. It is sent only over HTTPS, cannot be read by scripts, and lasts up to 30 days or until you sign out.
We set no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. Our analytics, Plausible, which we run ourselves, sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's storage. It is the only analytics we use. We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics service. Its script loads on our public pages. It does not load on the admin pages, your account page, your reports or the ChatGPT plugin page. We load no advertising scripts. See the privacy policy for what we measure.
Our own page-view counter keeps two small notes in your browser's local storage. Local storage is not a cookie, and it stays on your device:
- sw_seen: that you have visited before.
- sw_first: the campaign tags and the address of the page that linked you on your first visit (up to 300 characters). Our server keeps only the host. It is not set when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is on, and it is removed if it was saved earlier. Otherwise it stays until you clear this site's local storage.
