ChatGPT plugin coming soon
Find what is actually wrong with your site.
Ask ChatGPT to audit a URL. A real crawler goes through your pages and ranks what it finds by impact, with a plain fix for each.
Open source. Signed in: 3 audits a month, up to 500 pages each. The crawler is called SitewalkBot and it obeys robots.txt.
Three steps. Nothing to learn.
Ask ChatGPT for an audit
Give it any public URL. No setup, no tracking snippet, nothing to install.
A crawler goes through it, politely
It reads robots.txt first, says who it is, and keeps a slow pace so it does not hammer the site.
Read the ranked list
Worst problems first. Each one has a plain-language fix. Take it as a PDF, as CSV files, or read it on the page.
What it checks
Titles
Missing, duplicate or too long, page by page.
Meta descriptions
Missing or repeated across pages.
Headings
Pages with no H1, or more than one.
Canonicals
Tags that point somewhere you did not mean.
Noindex and robots
Pages quietly blocked from search.
Redirect chains
Hops that waste crawl time and link value.
Broken links
Internal links that lead to a 404.
Slow responses
Pages that take too long to answer.
Thin content
Pages with too little to rank.
Why this exists
I check the thing everyone trusts. Here is what I actually found.
That is the method. Sitewalk is that method with a crawler behind it.
What you get back
Sample only. Made-up site, illustrative issues and numbers, not a real audit.
Ranked, then explained
The worst thing is first. Open an issue to see why it matters and how to fix it, in plain words, with example URLs.
Export the lot as a PDF, or as CSV files for a spreadsheet or your developer.
How much you can run
- Signed in: 3 audits a month, up to 500 pages each
- Not signed in: 1 audit a day, up to 50 pages
- Web report and CSV export for every audit
- Sign in with an email link. No password.
Why the limits? A crawl puts real load on a server. Caps keep it fair to the sites being checked.

Questions
What does it check?
It crawls your pages and reports technical SEO problems, ranked by impact, each with a plain fix. Missing titles, descriptions and H1s, canonical and noindex problems, redirect chains, slow responses, thin content and broken links, ranked by what to fix first.
Do I need an account?
Audits run from ChatGPT. Not signed in you get 1 a day, up to 50 pages. Sign in with an email link, no password, for 3 audits a month and up to 500 pages each.
Can I audit a site I do not own?
Yes. The crawler obeys robots.txt, uses an honest name (SitewalkBot), only touches ports 80 and 443, and there is a daily cap per target site across all users. Details on the bot page.
How do I stop it crawling my site?
Add SitewalkBot to your robots.txt. The exact lines are on the bot page, along with an abuse contact.
Can I self-host it?
Yes. It is open source, so you can run it yourself from the GitHub repo. If you would rather not run servers, the hosted version does the crawling for you.
Who can see my report?
You can. Reports are private to your account and kept until you delete them.
Does it work in ChatGPT?
The ChatGPT plugin is coming soon. When it is live you can ask for an audit in chat and get the ranked list back, right there.
